Hirsch Pictures was founded in 2018 in Los Angeles by director Tereza Hirsch. It is currently based in Prague. Hirsch Pictures is an audiovisual production company. Tereza Hirsch
Director
Tereza Hirsch is a Czech-German director, screenwriter and writer. She studied film studies at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, where she later founded her production company Hirsch Pictures. In 2019, after five years, she returned to Prague and currently works here.
Her first short film The Guilt List was selected at more than 60 international film festivals and won 15 awards. Another short film Beyond Her Lens entered more than 80 film festivals and received 27 awards. In 2022, Tereza participated in the filming of the reality show Survivor Czech and Slovak as a content director.
Aja Horáčková
Production
Aja has been involved in media and film since high school. She studied film and television in Turkey and media communication in Germany. There, she also organized the film festival Film Leben Fest and participated in organizing the second-largest student festival in the world, ISWI. Since 2018, she has been a part of Hirsch Pictures. In addition, Aja has experience in the production of short films (Beyond her Lens), festivals (MFDF Ji.hlava) and music videos (L. Vondráčková, M. Peroutka, S. Issa) not only in the Czech Republic - but also in America, Germany and Egypt.
Tereza Menclová
Production Assistant
Terka studied Anglophone studies at the Metropolitan University of Prague, shortly after her studies, she went to Canada for a year to gain experience. She has worked with Hirsch Pictures for over two years, taking care of social networks and helping with filming preparations. She participated as a producer in the music video for the song Lucie Vondráčková called Milování. Furthermore, Terka arranges communication with film festivals and much more.
Anežka Švandová
Production Assistant
Anežka is currently studying a follow-up course in Mathematics and its applications at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. She has been working with our company, Hirsch Pictures, for over a year. She helps the company with the preparation of the filming or with technical matters. Furthermore, she created the official website of Hirsch Pictures, which she continues to care for.
