Logline:

California, 1953. When a young American girl called Grace falls in love with Czechoslovak immigrant Tommy, she has no idea what impact the Cold War and the associated tense relations between the United States and the Eastern Bloc countries will have on their love. In particular, Bill, Grace's father, is influenced by Senator McCarthy's anti-communist policies and has reservations about Tommy from the very beginning. After Bill makes it clear to Tommy that he is not welcome in his house, Grace must make a difficult decision.
